BE YOURSELF
The phrase "Just Be Yourself" is an answer to
many people's questions regarding social skills.
Although it is commonly used, its meaning is
pretty vague. It sparks up questions like "If I'm a
shy person does that mean I can remain shy for
the rest of my life?", "Does this mean I can be
lazy forever?", etc… The problem with the phrase
is that when it is said, people usually don't imply
or state what it really means so here is what it
really means to be yourself.
What Being Yourself Is
Being Your Best Self
-Only focus on your positive qualities; qualities
that YOU think are positive. There are no real
definite answer to what is a positive quality.
Some people's idea of a good quality may be
someone's idea of a bad quality
-Everything is about what YOU like. Do you
enjoy certain jokes? Certain movies? Hobbies?
Go do them. If other people don't like it… IT
DOESN'T MATTER WHAT THEY THINK. As long
as you aren't a psycho who enjoys rape, or
murder or anything extremely illegal.
-Stand strong on your own opinion. Your own
opinions shape who you are as a person. If you
change any of your own opinions (and disagree
with it) for the sake of being accepted by others,
then you aren't being yourself. You are just lying
to yourself.
-Make your own choices. Don't let other people
run your life. It's your life; do whatever the heck
you want.
Not comparing yourself to other people
-You are you and they are they. You are all
different. Not everyone is meant to be the same.
You are unique
-Don't compare qualities. No one is better that
another. Everyone is equal. Someone else might
like someone else better than you. Why?
Because they value certain qualities that the
other person has that you lack. But someonelse
may also like you better than the other person
because you have a different set of qualities that
the other person lacks. It's all up to personal
taste.
Not Worrying About What People Think About You
-People will have different opinions about you. It
is important to accept their thoughts and opinions
but don't let their opinions change who you are.
Being Open About Yourself
-Don't be afraid to express who you really are.
Do you like a TV show? Don't be afraid to ramble
about that. Do you like making music? Share
your music and let the world hear you. Enjoy the
shape of your dog's poop? Tell people how
awesome it is. As long as you are doing what
you want to do and talking about what you want,
you are being yourself.

Follow your passion
Michael Ojo > "Get inspired with Mike"
"A life without passion is a life not
worth living."
Passion isn't only having a strong emotion about
something but it is the combination of that stront
emotion about something and actually taking
action on it. If you feel passionate about
something, the only way to experience true
passion is by actng on those feelings. Here are 8
steps to live a life of passion.
1. Passion starts from within
yourself. Learning yourself is
crucial.
We don't learn passion. We have passion deep
inside us that has to be uncovered. Spending
time learning about ourselves in a deep level will
start to uncover what is important for us in life.
Being passionate isn't trying to be something we
aren't, or looking up to someone and trying to be
them. It is about being the best, purest and
truest form of ourselves.
2. Do things for yourself
One of the biggest issues with people today is
that we do things for others. We do things
because we "have to" and to try impressing
others. This is the wrong reasons of doing things
in life. There is no "reward" by doing things. The
only true reward is living life itself. In order to get
the most out of this reward, you should do things
because you want to and because it feels right to
do and it makes you feel good.
3. Open your eyes and see the
world
Finding our passion isn't the end goal; it is only
the beginning. You will know our priorities in life
once you find your passion. You will look at the
world with a different perspective, more open
mindedly and with a better understanding of it.
You'll find the role you have in the world and how
you can interact with it and the people in it with
the best you can.
4. You will master something
you have a passion for
Many people often think that you need to master
something in order to be truely passionate about
it. This isn't true at all. If you are passionate
about something, you will eventually master it.
5. Failing is a step forward
Having passion about something won't always
mean that things will come easy. You will
eventually face hardships and experience failure.
It can be hard to accept failure and not take it
personally but it is needed. Failure is guaranteed
to happen at some point but it is what helps us
adjust and improve on things. It is only
temporary. You can't win if you've never lost.
Permanent failure only happens if you give up.
6. Take action
You can only fully utilize your passion if you
match your actions with your thoughts. By
actually doing something, you are taking your
passion to new higher levels and confirming your
personal changes. Passion will affect noy only
your individual life, but the world around you.
7. Change the world with your
passion
Your passions aren't meant to be kept to
yourself. Share them to the world. Your passions
should be implemented into reality and used to
make changes in the world. You leave your mark
in this world with your passions. It's how you
make a legend out of yourself.
8. Life is limitless
There is no final step in life. There is no finish
line. Living a life of passion isn't a journey or a
race; it is a way of life. It creates emotions,
pleasures, hardships, memorable events and
amazing encounters in your life. You live life to
the fullest if you live it with passion. Without
passion, there really isn't that much life at all.

Between you and every goal that you wish to achieve, there is a series
of obstacles, and the bigger the goal, the bigger the obstacles. Your

I believe life is constanly testing us for our level of commitment,
and life's greatest rewards are reserved for those who demonstrate a
never-ending commitment to act until they achieve. This level of
resolve can move mountains, but it must be constant and consistent. As
simplistic as this may sound, it is still the common denominator
separating those who live their dreams from those who live in
regret.... Tony Robbins
